The day started off with an early morning ward teaching round on the orthopaedic ward followed by a visit to the spinal rehabilitation unit. An outpatient clinic quickly followed where 9 patients were listed for surgery for tomorrow. Following lunch, formal teaching by lectures and a dry bone workshop was performed.
Formal hand over of orthopaedic kit and anaesthetic kit took place to complete the day.
